Heavy Equipment Repair is the core of what JSD Equipment does. A Red Seal heavy duty mechanic with dealer-trained diesel and hydraulics experience, working on heavy machinery across the Fraser Valley. We diagnose and repair full-size excavators, agricultural tractors, skid steers, boom and scissor lifts, trenchers, compactors, backhoes, and the diesel engines that power them. The truck carries OEM-grade scan tools, JD Service Advisor and Yanmar engine software, hydraulic pressure and flow gear, an onboard welding rig, and the common parts and filtration most heavy equipment repair calls need. Honest estimate before any work starts, parts and labor itemized, no dealership-style markups. If we can't fix it on-site we'll tell you on the phone before we leave the shop. The Fraser Valley has a deep mix of heavy equipment in active service, dairy and berry farms running ag tractors and skid steers, contractors with full-size excavators and compactors, infrastructure crews running boom lifts and trenchers, and rental operators with mixed fleets. We service all of it. Mobile heavy duty mechanic dispatched from Chilliwack to Abbotsford, Mission, Agassiz, Hope, and the outer FVRD. We dispatch ASAP and most calls get same-day response; emergency breakdowns get priority dispatch.

Heavy machinery, diesel engines, hydraulic systems. If it runs on diesel or hydraulics, there's a good chance we can diagnose and repair it on-site.
Excavator work is a large share of the heavy equipment calls we take. Boom and stick cylinders that drift, slow or weak swing, travel motor and final drive faults, hose blow-outs mid-job, and undercarriage wear on machines that have been run tight. Mini excavators through full-size iron, all diagnosed where the machine sits.
For excavators specifically, JSD provides dedicated excavator repair covering mini and compact machines, full-size excavators, hydraulics, swing and travel, and undercarriage work.
Skid steers and compact track loaders are some of the most common machines we see, hydraulic blow-outs mid-job, drive motor faults, electrical gremlins, and undercarriage wear on tracked units. Bobcat, Cat, Kubota, Case, John Deere, and New Holland all get the same on-site treatment.
For compact machines, JSD provides dedicated skid steer and track loader repair for skid steers, compact track loaders, CTLs, attachments, hydraulics, and undercarriage issues.
JSD is dealer-trained at an authorized John Deere shop and carries JD Service Advisor on the truck. Compact utility tractors, ag tractors, JD excavators and skid steers, we read the same fault codes and run the same calibrations as the dealership, at your site instead of theirs.
For JD-specific diagnostics, common John Deere failures, and how a JD service call works, see the dedicated John Deere equipment repair page.
Concrete failure scenarios we see week-in, week-out. If your equipment looks like one of these, we've fixed it before, and we'll give you a likely diagnosis on the phone before we leave the shop.
Glow plugs, fuel system priming, fuel filter, fuel injection issue, or batteries / starter circuit. Common on heavy diesel that's been sitting or running through a hard winter. We diagnose with the engine software and the multimeter.
Worn pump, failing solenoid, leaking cylinder, or contaminated fluid. We carry pressure and flow gauges on the truck so we can prove the cause before quoting the repair.
Stuck regen, DEF dosing fault, DPF clogged, NOx sensor fault. Forced regen and code clearing on-site; sensor replacement on the first call when the part is on the truck.
We diagnose what's leaking, remove the hose, cap the ends and take it to the closest hose fabrication shop for a custom-made hose, to return your equipment to service.
On heavy equipment these are usually slow-developing failures, worn brake actuators, hydraulic steering leak, final-drive seal weep. We catch them before they strand the machine.
Battery, alternator, starter circuit, ground fault, or a wiring chafe somewhere in the harness. We trace the schematic on-site instead of guessing parts.

Specialized in mobile John Deere equipment repair. Need hydraulic repair on-site, skid steer repair, or a preventative maintenance package? We cover those too.
Excavator crews, contractors, and fleet operators stick with JSD because the diagnosis is honest, the work holds up, and there's no flatbed.
Diesel and hydraulics, diagnosed honestly, fixed where the iron sits.
Tell us what the machine's doing: fault codes, leak location, what changed. Jordan rules out the easy stuff before the truck rolls.
